PORTLAND, Ore. (October 18, 2019) –The Portland Trail Blazers have waived forward Keljin Blevins and guards Troy Caupain and London Perrantes, it was announced today by president of basketball operations Neil Olshey. All three players were signed to training camp contracts in September. Blevins, 23, averaged 4.3 points 0.8 rebounds and 0.3 assists in 28 total minutes during four preseason appearances. Caupain, 23, posted averages of 3.2 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 48 total minutes in five preseason games. Perrantes, 25, appeared in all five preseason games, amassing totals of four points, one rebound and 10 assists in 43 minutes. The Trail Blazers roster now stands at 14 players with two additional players under two-way contracts.
TRAIL BLAZERS CONVERT MOSES BROWN TO TWO-WAY CONTRACT PORTLAND, Ore. (October 18, 2019) –The Portland Trail Blazers have exercised the two-way player conversion option in the contract of center Moses Brown, it was announced today by president of basketball operations Neil Olshey. Brown, 20, appeared in all five preseason games for the Trail Blazers, posting averages of 5.2 points (69.2% FG, 61.5% FT), 2.2 rebounds and 1.00 block in 6.9 minutes per game. A rookie out of UCLA, Brown (7-1, 245) went undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft. During his lone season at UCLA, Brown averaged 9.7 points (60.7% FG), 8.3 rebounds, 0.3 assists and 1.94 blocks in 32 games (31 starts). He was named a 2018 McDonald’s All-American following his senior season at Archbishop Molloy High School in Queens, New York.
