Remember the beginning of the season when we were full of hope and all our role players were exceeding expectations, and the only minor disappointment was Nurkic? Particularly impressive was Evan Turner - he was leading us in +/- and started at SG in the first game of the season when we annihilated Phoenix.

Well - what happened to THAT guy? My suggestion: we're running fewer post-ups for him to make Nurkic happy. I think both of them need to be given the ball in the post to be effective, and as of now Nurkic is getting them. Anyone care to corroborate/dispute?

How trivial can a thread topic be. Yes, a couple people said that Turner looked good, but I didn't think so. Nurkic came in shooting mid-range too much, obviously influenced by Stotts. He dropped that as soon as games counted.

You met your quota for the day for threads started. You'll get paid; now go to sleep.

What was there about Turner’s play today that warranted this thread? 13 points on 6-15 shooting, including 1-2 from 3, 3 reb and 4 assists? I’ll take that any day.

5-13 on two-pointers is "getting out his shooting slump?" That's a pretty low bar.

Right? Lamar kept saying it must feel good to feel the ball go through the hoop a few times. Yeah. 3(at that point in time) and 5 more had not gone in. How DOES that feel? 3-8 is hitting a real stride.....

    Come on....

We should start Nurkic at small forward and Evan Turner at center.

    Problems solved!

How do you put Turner there when Napier is already penciled in? He has been playing well and deserves time. Small ball is in!

How is it that Nurk is apparently costing us so much on offense?
