I once said you should be able to control yourself.

I, along with others, know that is not possible.

When are you going to control yourself as all I ever see you do is eat popcorn in the forum and add little if anything and yes, others have said the same thing to me about you as well.

    Haha.

This coming from you is hilarious.

I am so deep in your mind you responded to Lanny about me when I did not post in the forum for weeks.

Chew on that for a while or you can stalk @Orion Bailey more and claim you are not.

    LMAO!

and a typical from you. Try engaging in a discussion for once.

Are you a trump supporter as well? Care to answer the same question I asked tbf about if you feel trump handled the pandemic properly. Put the popcorn down for a few minutes and give it a shot. :bored:

Did some of the democratic mayors and governors properly or did all of them? Don’t deflect to Trump, we are only Democrats in this scenario

I am not a Trump supporter.

But I guess you are fumbling around for something negative to cling to.

    That is your usual agenda.

It was simply a question. No reason to get all worked up.

    Buh bye!

So you didnt ask. I can answer however I want. Just because its your game of blame Trump for everything doesnt mean I have to abide by your rules. It’s not deflection it’s the truth, it’s my answer to the question.

So my problem is where the two party system has ended up in the US not that there are two major parties. 1 political party, 20 political parties, any amount in between will have some problems. I think the biggest issues in America are crony capitalism, divide and conquer tactics of the citizens, there are other major issues no doubt. Racism and bigotry and such, but even those I think are made worse by the the issues above. I think what Democrats and Republicans have done is hyper polarized everyone, and every subject. They willfully pour billions into propaganda with the sole intent of creating division. The parties both take part in crony capitalism. Politics have always been nasty as far as human history goes back. However I dont personally believe we have very many good politicians on either side of the aisle and I dont particularly believe that one of those groups is going to do anything that makes my life better, that makes my families life better, my community stronger. With a lot of pressure the ruling class might throw commoners a bone once in a while but thats all I think we will ever get. Theyve been bought off.

That can happen with 2,3,4, etc. I understand that, but it has clearly happened, with the republicans and democrats. They are not for the people they are for themselves.

Presidents have some power. States have some power. Congress and the House have power. That's the way the United States is set up. The Federal Government is not supposed to act like a dictatorship to individual states. Yeah, Trump messed up in several ways. However, the entirety of the COVID response is not on Trump. He is not solely responsible or supposed to be responsible for every governor's decision, the decisions the house and senate made or didn't make. It's ironic that most people seem to think Trump should act like an authoritarian, and yet also criticize him because he wants to have authoritarian like power, which he does not have.
Edit: He is not solely responsible for it becoming a political issue either. It took like 2 weeks of the 'crisis' in America for the house and senate to start playing stupid political games.
Edit2 : If I thought Trump was solely responsible for the United States, or for the COVID response I'd give him the blame for it. I don't believe he's entirely responsible for it. So I don't. I think they all share blame for what's gone on.

I'll bite as this is a very simple answer that you should be able to understand.

It is the responsibility of the president to ensure Americans are safe. He should have formulated a coordinated effort to make sure ALL states had adequate supplies rather than lying about that he was left with an empty cupboard and no guidelines. Both turned out to be blatant lies. It would have been next to impossible for the Obama administration to have a supply of test kits for covid 19 as it didn't exist at the time. Also, he continued to downplay the severity of the virus thus falsely giving people a false sense of security. Also, most states that opened early never met the task force guidelines and zoomed past stage one and into stage 2 with some even going into stage 3 without ever meeting stage one. We should have also had a universal strategy when it came to testing along with contact tracing to be able to combat the virus, but trump was more worried about the economy than the safety of people.

That should be enough for you to chew on for a bit.

    Pandemic Revives States' Rights Debate
The coronavirus pandemic has exposed tensions between the federal government and the states. Governors have exercised emergency powers to try to stop the spread of the virus even as President Trump has insisted they keep their economies open.

Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson speaks with Julian Zelizer, professor of history and public affairs at Princeton University.

This segment aired on June 16, 2020.

Cause we have two rival gangs with incompetent leadership. I'm aware of that. That's why I think people shouldn't just vote for who the GOP and DNC gives them every four years. Cause we keep getting bad presidents.
My point at the beginning of this was that Biden really sucks too, and since this has entirely moved on to just Trump sucks! I guess we're just conceding the point now.
