Missouri cornerback Kip Edwards is expected back this week after missing the opener with a hamstring injury, but the defense will be without linebacker Will Ebner and end Jacquies Smith this week. Coach Gary Pinkel ruled out Smith, who has a dislocated left elbow, for Friday night's game at Arizona State and perhaps more. Ebner could miss several weeks with an ankle sprain.
