    The NBA D-League Champion Santa Cruz Warriors (4-2) defeated the Austin Spurs (4-1) 94-92 on Friday night at Kaiser Permanente Arena.
    Santa Cruz's Elliot Williams notched 26 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists, as Chris Udofia recorded a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds on 72% shooting. Daniel Orton added 11 points and 6 blocked shots.

    Deshaun Thomas paced the Spurs with a team-high 17 points and 7 rebounds. Orlando Johnson recorded 16 points on 5-of-9 shooting, while Jarell Eddie posted 12 points and 4 rebounds.

    Santa Cruz would take the 11-2 lead in the opening minutes of the game, but Austin would rally back to come within three points to end the quarter. The Spurs started the second period with a 22-8 run to lead by as many as 11 points.

    The second half was a tightly-contested battle that saw 9 lead changes and 5 ties. The Warriors would rally back from a seven point deficit to take the lead with 4 minutes left in the game. The lead would change 3 times before the Warriors and Spurs were locked at a 92-92 tie with 6.2 seconds left in the game. Santa Cruz's Darington Hobson inbounded the ball to Juwan Staten who dished it to Chris Udofia for the 12-foot jumpshot to win the game for the Warriors at the buzzer.
