Group A: Bayern Munich, Juventus, Bordeaux, Maccabi Haifa Group B: Manchester United, CSKA Moscow, Besiktas, Wolfsburg Group C: AC Milan, Real Madrid, Marseille, FC Zurich Group D: Chelsea, FC Porto, Atletico Madrid, APOEL Group E: Liverpool, Lyon, Fiorentina, Debrecen Group F: FC Barcelona, Inter Milan, Dinamo Kiev, FC Rubin Kazan Group G: Sevilla, Rangers, Stuttgart, Unirea Group H: Arsenal, AZ Alkmaar, Olympiakos, Standard Draw best for: Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal Draw worst for: AC Milan, Inter Milan, Bordeaux
No doubt Arsenal got the best draw. Certainly no guarantees but those teams should pose little threat. I think the worst draw is for Bordeaux. They will have a hard time finishing better than 3rd. Ditto for Fiorentina.
They really should objectively rank the teams 1-32 and then assign them to groups like a March Madness bracket. Those groups are not fair.

Those two join CSKA, Porto, Fiorentina, Dinamo Kiev, Stuttgart, and Standard as third place teams. As for the calls for an objective system, please, stop. If that was in use people would be just as upset. Furthermore, whats the point of objectively ranking teams 1-32 if you're not using the top 32 teams?

Bayern will make it Agoo, they just got Robben as well. (from Real) They've had a bad start in the Bundesliga, but remember it's a new coach, new style, etc. They'll be a tough team to beat though with all the attack they'll have.
Marseille, Porto and Lyon have a big chance. United, when you really think about it, doesn't have it that easy with Wolfsburg who score like crazy, and Moscow and Besiktas who aren't easy teams to beat either.
Why would you put Manchester United in the best draw section? Do you have any clue how tough is to play in Russia and Turkey and when you go to play the German Champions is get even tougher since Manchester United don't know what to expect from Wolfsburg, Wolfsburg have a great shot at beating Manchester United in Germany but I see draws at Russia and Turkey. But Manchester United should win all of their matches at home and I wouldn't be surprised if they struggle in Russia and Turkey but they will either draw or win there. And Wolfsburg and Manchester United will fight for points, in that group.
Every English club struggles against Russian couples specially in Russia it's self. I swear there our only like 2 people on here other then me that know what they are doing about, some just say shite out of their arse to sound like they know what they are saying.
Ok, sure. Be sure to bump this thread after the first round is done and we'll see who's talking shit.
you're bitching about someone saying that man u has one of the best draws, but then go on to say that man u shouldn't have any problems winning all three home games and that you expect draws in russia and turkey? 3 relatively easy wins, 2 draws, and a toss up game means you think man u advances with no problems.
Indeed, but I'm not talking shite I'm just going from past history. English clubs have had a lot of trouble playing Football the Russian way and specially in Russia and in Turkey it gets heated because their supporters are similar to the Bosnian supporters they just throw flares, other objects and are racist and in EPL all that stuff in banned and the security is tough for you to get that shite in. I'm predicting this result for that group. Manchester United - I'm being bias, but I don't give a shite. Wolfsburg - This is probably the dark horse in the whole Champions League and they will make a lot of noise. Besiktas - They are more skilled and have a better tactical game then CSKA does, that will place them 3rd. CSKA -They wish to be else where but the only thing that will help them come 3rd is Home wins. And If I'm wrong, I don't care then there is nothing I can do about it but I'm wishing it happens like that.
I'm not bitching I'm giving a realistic mate. And I'm saying Manchester United will either pick up a win or a draw in Russia and Turkey and struggle with Wolfsburg. Have I made myself clear?
