    Aren't Jones and Rashad training partners? I wonder if Rashad told Dana to give his title shot to Jones or if on the flip side Rashad would be pissed that Jones got the shot and if he wins I assume Rashad wouldn't want to fight Jones and thus his shot at the LHW belt would be gone for quite some time.

    I'm sure Evans isn't thrilled about losing his title shot to anyone. You're right--if Jones wins the title, Evans basically has to put his championship aspirations on hold. There is an outside chance he'd consider middleweight as well. However I bet he's glad that it is his teammate getting the shot, at least.

    Evans can still rematch Machida, fight Couture, Little Nog, Bader, etc. Still competition out there for him.

    I didn't think he could even make 185. He seems short for a LHW but hes fairly stout and IIRC he had a lot of trouble cutting to 205 in the Rampage fight.

    God the chin is BAD though. And he thinks hes way faster than he really is. Hes got tremendous power that doesn't get talked about all that much but man if he whifs Anderson is going to level him immediately.
