This card is looking like a 9/10 right now. Low expectations for the co-main but otherwise pretty stacked top-to-bottom including the untelevised prelims.
I am gonna miss this card, damn it! I was setting up a viewing party for it this weekend and then completely remembered that I have a concert Saturday night.
The ban on post-weigh-in intravenous hydration begins October 1st, so, we'll see if it has an effect.
I was under the impression that televised prelim card fights usually aren't promoted to the main card because the broadcaster has been guaranteed those fights. Apparently not as the televised main event (Benny vs. Ali) has been promoted to the main card. Not sure which Fight Pass prelim fight will be moved onto television but those guys will be happy.

A few thoughts... - Sage Northcutt -- male Page VanZant? - Missing weight, showing up looking like a bag of ice, losing, and shoving Herb Dean is a good way for Francisco Trevino to get his walking papers - Rose Namajunas has great grappling technique but I don't want to see her strike with JJ - Nice KO by Martins - Nicer KO by Tumenov; Jouban contesting the stoppage on rubber legs was kind of funny - Yair Rodriguez is flashy but should be trying to finish the fight not pop the crowd - Julianna Pena/Jessica Eye started a run of very dull PPV fights IMO - Benavidez/Bauautinov, not much to say - Magomedov/Jordan, even less - Bader/Evans, Evans isn't into it anymore, Bader will get wrecked by DC - Main event was good but not a classic, IMO; both guys gassed too quickly. Gus could've won the fight but took too much damage to be effective in the fifth round, like in his fight with Jones; he didn't mount much offense and although his kicks were effective he shied away from them for some reason, even with DC not going for take-downs; Cormier is difficult to deal with as he can take shots and keep the pace up--his next opponent should be Jones but who knows when he'll be ready - Joe Rogan's Ronda Rousey promo is embarrassing
