The UFC has drawn the ire of the UK fans by bringing the event to Manchester (yay!) but holding it on American/Eastern time, meaning the main event will be starting at like 6 AM.

Reports coming in that scalpers bought up all of the tickets to this event in the first minute and have already put them on secondary for 5x the price.

They need to go back to the ticket booth, no more than 4 per person method. They are fucking over UFC fans.

Bisping spewing a lot of shit at Henderson.

Kind of hard to take him serious when is the poster boy for arguably the most iconic KO in MMA history.

Bisping is one of the guys who walks the line between hyping up a fight and just being a shithead.

I do remember him saying that Hendo was too old and slow seven years ago. Now, he actually might be.

Henderson retires. Excellent performance from him. Nice way to go out even on a loss.

    A few thoughts...

Tremendous event. Great fights. Shame the UK fans had to wait up so late to enjoy them. But they've been getting free PPV's all along, right?

I didn't see the early prelims but Mike Perry won again. The guy can fight. A few heels in the sport is a good thing. Hopefully he can try and keep his nose clean outside of the cage. Inside he's been great.

The four prelim fights were all good. Brad Pickett got thumped for the fifth time in six fights. He's 38. Could be the end of the road for him. Alcantara isn't exactly an up-and-comer. He's 36.

Albert Tumenov is a little disappointing. He is a creative striker and fun to watch but he has some glaring weaknesses. He doesn't have the wrestling background like the Dagestanis. His grappling or at least his TDD must improve.

I thought Mirsad Bektic vs. Russell Doane was a strange choice for the curtain jerker fight. Did anyone know who these guys were? Bektic hasn't fought in over a year. Regardless, good performance by the Bosnian.

The middle part of the PPV was great. Struve, Manuwa, and Mousasi had great finishes. The most surprising was Manuwa's. OSP went five rounds with Jones. Manuwa's strikes were on point. OSP suffers for not having a discipline. He's been in MMA for like eight years but still looks rough around the edges. I don't know much about the Knoxville Mixed Martial Arts Academy but he's 33-years old and won't be athletic forever. If he wants to stick with this now would be the time to get into a better camp and see what he can do.

2016's been a year to forget for Vitor Belfort. I guess he's going to retire? Not much left for him in this sport. His record in Brazil since 2012: 5-1. Elsewhere: 0-3.

The main event was pretty good. Hendo didn't have five rounds in him. Bisping did a great job of squirming around and avoiding too much damage after the knockdowns. MMA judging needs to be reevaulated. One judge gave Bisping four rounds. No judges scored a 10-8 despite the knockdowns. I know it's not boxing but the most significant strikes of the fight were those two. After a very close fourth round I thought Hendo might be up 3-1. In fact he was down 3-1 for one judge. If he had more left in the tank he would've won the fight by taking the fifth. Would've taken an enormous round for him to get the nod it seems.

Credit to Bisping for gutting out the win but this fight was a favour. I'm not sure who will get the next title shot but I don't think booking the fight will go smoothly.

Tip of the cap to Hendo and Belfort. Obviously we don't like how they artificially extended their careers but even if you judge them without this decade in mind they are easy Hall of Fame'rs.

Hendo 1,2,5 is all I'm FUCKING saying. BS homecoooking decision. Most fighters also agreed Hendo won that. Either way, what an end to a legendary career. Fuck I'm going to miss that old man.
