    Eddie is in no place to make demands. Either sign to fight Conor at the price the UFC is offering you or fight Khabib. He's not a prime time fan drawing fighter. He's not Nate. He has no leverage in negotiation.

    Eddie is the champion, not the challenger. McGregor isn't a top lightweight contender and this isn't a mandatory defence. Eddie can easily make demands as it's his belt McGregor wants, not the other way around. He's playing it smart knowing how desperate McGregor is to be a double belt holder.

    If McGoat is getting $5/buy, and Eddie demands the same, why shouldn't he get it?

    McGregor sells zero PPV's if he has no opponent to fight.

    I completely disagree.

    Eddie wants to defense his belt against McGoat. He isn't calling out Khabib. He's calling out Conor for the money fight. Conor is a proven PPV commodity and money maker. DFW wants Conor to fight, IMO. But he can't look weak.

    Eddie isn't a house hold name, he isn't a major super star, he isn't a long term champ. He ha no grounds to be making PPV demands.

    Helwani is famously conservative when it comes to breaking news. If he had two reliable sources confirming the fight he'd be announcing it as well. Sounds like TalkMMA is trying to get out first.

    Supposedly there is some kind of presser tomorrow. Hopefully they will also announce they have figured out Weidman/Romero.

    Khabib is getting screwed here. Part of me wants the McGoat fight and the other part wants the Khabib fight.
