    Tyron Woodley was interested in fighting Nick Diaz at this event but Diaz refused, asking for more money than he was offered.

    Big opportunity missed there for Diaz, methinks.

    I believe it was Matt Hughes who used to say you wasn't champion until you defended your belt one time. I feel like we need to start saying this about Conor, dude wins titles and apparently never defends them.

    Yes, because knocking out the reigning champ in 13 seconds that was at one time thought of as unbeatable doesnt make you champ.....

    Matt Serra once beat GSP. The rematch did not go so well for Serra. Winning a fight in 13 seconds only means you landed a solid punch, being able to do it a second time is what's impressive. So no, winning a title and running scared does not make someone a champion, only a title holder.

    Well, doesn't look like McGregor is going to be defending that 145-lbs. belt anytime soon seeing as how he "relinquished" it and they gave it back to Aldo.

    He will defend the 155-lbs. belt, though. And the time away means he's going to come roaring back for a massive payday.

    I really want the fight between El Cucuy and Nurmagomedov to be a good one, but I feel the "bad blood fight" will go the way of Daley/Koscheck or Rampage/Evans. Seems fun on paper, but Khabib is just gonna grind Ferguson out to a decision.

    The rest of this card looks awesome. I am especially interested in that Hunt vs Overeem fight. After the huge stink Hunt is causing over failed drug tests it is kind of funny they match him up with Overeem in the very next fight.

    Ty Woodley says it's a fact that he's the worst treated UFC champion of all time.

    Hard to believe they aren't working harder to push a guy, or get a guy endorsements, who is CONSTANTLY COMPLAINING.

    For my money I feel like TJ Dillashaw was treated much worse as a champion. With that in mind, whether Woodley really is the worst treated champion of all time or not, Nunes is about to claim that title.

    Nunes is not the most attractive woman, and can barely speak English. She does not seem to be one of Dana's favorite people, as he has barely talked about her publically since she beat Rousey. I just do not see her being someone Dana White will ever get behind. Also, Dana White never seemed interested in a 145-lb women's champion until Nunes became champion. Then it seemed to pop up over night. I think she will be treated like a secondary champion by Dana.
