Gleison Tibau in for Jorge Masvidal. Harder fight for Parke, IMHO.

Let's just hope Cerrone doesn't wear his body down with this many fights and loses to someone he shouldn't because his body is just over trained. He wasn't damaged in the Myles Jury fight, but he took some shots. Ben Henderson is no easy fight to take on such short notice. If he wins this, he deserves a title shot IMO. Firstly because it would be 8 wins in a row, secondly as a reward for stepping up so huge.

Just hit reply on the post you want to quote.

+ Quote is for quoting multiple posts at once.

Also not training 8-12 weeks pre-fight seems to be what keeps Cerrone healthy. Over-training is the leading cause of injuries.

Thanks, I just figured it out after posting above.... silly me. I hope this pace of fighting does work for Cerrone. He's easily one of my fav fighters to watch. Hard not to be a fan of his IMO, he comes to fight and doesn't coast to wins.

If you aren't a fan of Cerrone you aren't a fan of MMA.

Like Robbie Lawler, I'd like to see Cerrone win the title just once.

I usually wouldn't endorse a third fight when one fighter has won the first two (re: Edgar/Penn) but in this case it should be a good measurement of where both guys are at. We'll get to see if Cerrone has improved and if Bendo is declining. Plus it's a last minute thing and not something that was planned out.

However I don't think Cerrone can beat Pettis.

agreed. The first two fights were in the WEC, so a lot has changed since then. Cerrone needs to get this to the ground IMO. He's not going to outstrike Bendo but I think his ground game can catch anyone and it's his best path to success. But Cowboy will be his usual self and not look to take it down unless he drops Henderson with strikes and chases him down. This will be a good fight though regardless of who wins.

Has the UFC ever put a fighter into a main event and treated him with less respect than Siver at this event? They aren't even pretending it's a fair match-up.

I like McGregor, but I would love to see Siver KO him just to see the world's reaction and the reaction of DFW.

Late replacement Louis Taylor got injured in training and pulled out of his fight with Uriah Hall.

The UFC then cut him as, I dunno, retaliation? Kind of strange.
