This is a solid card. Really excited for the Costa v. Yanez fight. Both fighters are up and coming prospects and very exciting. Yanez has some of the best hands in MMA right now. It got moved to the main card. I hope Sandhagen puts Dillashaw out.

Sandhagen v. Dillashaw was everything I think is wrong with judging. How do you look at that fight and score it for Dillashaw? How do you score that 4th round for Dillashaw? He didn't put Corey in any danger, anywhere. He hugged his back a lot, which I guess gave him "control". He didn't land any meaningful takedowns. Cory was throwing more dangerous and effective strikes from bottom position, rolling out, submission attempts, or quickly got back up. On the feet, Cory landed the more impactful strikes and damage. He dropped TJ, tore his knee up, busted his face up. Yet TJ kept the pressure on him...so it comes down to damage v. control. How do you call that a fight and say TJ won? I just don't get it. Terrible decision, IMO.
The only reason I've seen so far for calling the fight in Dillashaw's favour was that Sandhagen didn't 'go for the kill' in the championship rounds.
I think Petr Yan puts TJ's lights out after he puts out Sterling. Sandhagen didn't lose any stock with that loss. He's still a win or two away.
