Miles Plumlee went from an end-of-the-bench guy to a major contributor in a matter of a few weeks. The 6-foot-11 center was upbeat on Thursday as the Bucks took their year-end physicals and pondered the future. "I'm just really thankful for the opportunity to get out there and play," Plumlee said. "I love the game. I love the team here. I think we're building something really special and I hope to continue to be a part of it." The 27-year-old averaged 5.1 points and 3.8 rebounds in 61 games, including 14 starts. He thrived after the Bucks moved Giannis Antetokounmpo to point guard and was able to provide rim protection while also running the floor and scoring off lobs. "I think that plays to our strength," Plumlee said. "We're young and crazy talented, with Jabari (Parker) and Giannis, really can run.
