11-0, all stoppages, 5-0 (UFC) Total fight time (UFC): about 17.5 minutes Average fight time (UFC): about 3.5 minutes People are dismissive of DFW's comparing her to Mike Tyson. There are parallels. She has intimidated the field and is winning quickly and ferociously. Tyson's competition was criticized, as is Rousey's. You could compare her to Laila Ali (24-0) but Rousey's competition is at least semi-competent, she's just making them look bad. Setting her up against Holly Holm, at this stage, looks like the direction the UFC will go in. Rousey may decide to box with her and I absolutely wouldn't bet against her even in a stand-up fight. Holm might be the pillow-fists of the W135 division. Bethe Correia is 9-0 but hasn't fought a top-ranked bantamweight. The call-out was mostly personal with Correia having defeated Rousey's crew (Baszler, Duke). The fight with Cyborg looks like the best option but Rousey is unwilling to move up and Cyborg looks incapable of making 135. At this point Rousey could become the FMMA Donald Cerrone and just start taking fights every six weeks.
Sounds like the UFC have cooled on the idea of her fighting Holm. Rousey will take time off to film Mile 22, a new project involving Peter Berg (Battleship, Lone Survivor) and Iko Uwais (The Raid).
