In wrestling. The games are being held in Australia. For the Americans on the site, The Commonwealth Games are a mini Summer Olympics for British territories (Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, etc.) The games are held every four years since 1930, suspended during WW2. The events are: Archery Athletics Badminton Basketball Boxing Cycling Diving Gymnastics Hockey Judo Lawn bowls Netball Rowing Rugby sevens Squash Swimming Shooting Synchronised swimming Table tennis Tennis Triathlon Weightlifting Wrestling
Netball is a janky version of basketball for girls. It sucks. Is squash a British term or is it distinct from racquetball?

ROBERT Whittaker is set create history — again — as the first active UFC champion to compete at a Commonwealth Games. Only two months after becoming Australia’s first UFC champ, The Daily Telegraph can reveal Whittaker has finally been rubber stamped to join Australia’s wrestling team at the upcoming Gold Coast Games, starting April 4. UFC president Dana White is aware of the decision, which has been delayed for several months after a handful athletes appealed their omissions.
The UFC stepped in and told Whittaker they would strip him if he competed in the games. Probably something they could've told him months ago but they are clueless so that's that. Still booked to fight at 225 but the relationship probably damaged for no real reason.
