You mean 5th seed and beating the Clips? I had us at 4th and beating the Clips. So close I guess.

If Utah can slow the game down and grind it out then I think they can take the Warriors to 7 games (and lose still!).

    Yeah..
They put together a good mix of veteran talent with their young studs.
They did this without Gobert for most of the series really.
We need to take a page from thier book and offload some of our expensive contracts with young guys for vet experience with large contracts.
Mix our roster up a bit for the next year or two and let those big contracts expire(Chandler and Dudley)

Take them to 7? I think if the Jazz can slow it down and grind it out, they can take the Warriors to 5. If they don't slow it down, the Warriors will blow them out.

I mean, the Jazz struggled with a Clippers team missing Blake Griffin.

Utah has 2 good veterans (Joe Johnson at age 35 & Bois Diaw at age 36 ) we don't. Not to mention George Hill is 30. We can't have that on the Blazers. Remember we have an age limit. Also, we have wait till the passing of the Worriers and Cavs to become competitive.

Thought coming into the season our ceiling's for success were similar, but Utah's depth and veteran experience gave them more room for error so no surprise for me but still disappointing.

Tough summer ahead for them though. Interested to see what they look like come August.

Utah has no chance against the Warriors. They don't score enough.
It'll get real ugly if ISO joe & Hayward aren't each dropping 25+ on 12-15 shots each.

Disagree. They haven't overachieved they have more balance at multiple positions.

Sidenote: has Chris Paul ever won a series? Is it his fault or is he cursed?

He beat the Spurs two years ago. And the Warriors the year before, though the Warriors were missing Bogut (back when Bogut was arguably their second-best player) and were still being coached by Mark Jackson.

There's some element of "cursed"--this year, they lost Griffin. Last year, they lost Paul and Griffin. Year before, Paul got injured at the end of the Spurs series and he was limited against the Rockets, a series they took a 3-1 lead in and lost.
