Utah @ MU Look at Utah beating the crap out of Dick Rod's Michigan team! LMAO! 25-10 , 5 min left in 3rd...tick tick tick.... I really thought Dick Rod would have taken this game. Utah looks like they are going to roll this year, looking at the remainder of their schedule.
Their defense is looking pretty scary. They're making MU look baffled on offense. 11 minutes left Michigan has 159 yards offense, 39 rushing. Utah has almost broke 100 yards in penalties against themselves, but has already taken the ball from Michigan 3 times.
As soon as I finished posting that, Utah implodes on offense. Punt block, and touchdown for MU on next play. The pass and catch were incredible. 7 min left. Utah gets the ball again and does nothing. Johnson fumbles on 3rd down. Utah stiffens on D, but facemask moves MU up. MU scores again on short field position. 25-23 Utah.
The Utah offense nearly gave this game away to MU after putting up 300 yards in the first half. Their defense saved their ass.
Woot! Woot! It's good to be a Ute. My alma mater goes into the big house and doesn't get lost in the Maize!
Whittingham (Utah HC) is like Dave Wannstedt... only w/ a bit more talent & personality. The Utes have a bad habit of getting lax when they have a big lead early. Thank God they scored just before half.
Re: Utah @ MU wonder what our "buddy" from the Upper Peninsula is thinking? lol. The U could go 1-11 as long as they crush, humiliate, destroy, maul, etc... BYU.
Re: Utah @ MU You mean, "Upper Michigan". You have to say it with a ring of superiority, lol. That guy was a piece of work. For the memories... http://sportstwo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6318&highlight=Zackman http://sportstwo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6412&highlight=Zackman ESPN is already putting big hype on the UU vs. BYU game tonight. They are already talking about how both teams could go undefeated until that game, and potentially throw a wrench into the BCS standings based on the outcome.

It's not just the Utes, it's alot of these teams that run that spread option offense. The Gators last year had the same problem, there was a couple of games they should have won, but because of the nature of the spread option offense it's hard to keep a lead and eat up clock. Your runningbacks start already deep in the backfield, the line has to keep their blocks long enough for the runningback to get to the line, and everyone knows your trying to eat up clock later in the game. It's why I really just dislike the spread option style offense. Teams like Alabama or Ohio State that does not run the spread option, have the running game and blocking, to eat up clock when games get late to keep the ball in their possession or when they get a lead in the first half they intend to keep.
