Damian Jones all but said he's heading to the NBA following a press conference introducing new Vanderbilt coach Bryce Drew on Wednesday. “I haven’t decided yet, but I have a good feeling about (the prospect of entering the NBA Draft),” Jones said. “I just need to get my schoolwork done.” Jones will only lack a few credit hours after this semester to graduate. He said he could finish that work later if he started his NBA career now. Jones, a 7-foot All-SEC center, is projected to be a first-round draft pick. He said he would make his final decision “pretty soon,” but added that he believes he is already NBA-ready. Drew tried to get Jones to stay. He met with the team earlier in the afternoon.
