    Scout.com just reported that we apparently landed a linebacker from Mountain View. Still early, but it's shaping up to be a good class and I like the locals.

    Nice verbal. 6'2", 225# three star kid with a 3.8 gpa. Described as a hard hitter with good speed, he'll need to improve his size, read and cover skills. Beat out Idaho, Boise St, Air Force and WSU for the early verbal. Not bad, Beavis.

    I just noticed that Skotte is also on the Oregonian's list of running backs to watch this season. Good stuff.

    Marist's coach said Skotte hits harder on defense than anyone he's seen in HS since Owen Marecic. Sounds like a great get for the Beavers.
