Klitschko retains Heavyweight belt with Unanimous decision over Johnson in lackluster fight

Vitali Klitschko retained the WBC Heavyweight title with a twelve round unanimous decision ver undefeated American, Kevin Johnson in Berne, Switzerland.

The fight was mostly void of action due to Johnson inability to throw any meaningful punches. Johnson backed up and leaned against the ropes and flicked up jabs from time to time as Klitschko would stick out his own jab and make the fight with rights to the top of the head as Johnson would bend over in an effort to avoid the contact. The rounds were redundant with Klitschko dominating with his two fisted attack.

Johnson did his customary talking as he would try to mock and get underneath the skin of the champ. Klitschko closed the show in style he landed his best shots while mocking Johnson using his own brand of theatrics.

Klitschko, 247 lbs of Kiev Ukrane won by scores of 120-108, 120-108 and 119-109 to raise his record to 39-2. Johnson, 242 1/2 lbs of Asbury Park, NJ was making his first attempt at a world title, loses for the first time and is now 22-1-1.
