http://hoopshype.com/storyline/noah-vonleh-injury/ Maybe this is why Quick's series ended abruptly. (Feel free to merge if I missed a thread on this already)
Doesnt have its own thread, but Ill post my same response here that I did in the other... fuck fuck fuck fuck....
oh yeah. too many bigs.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA Sorry Rast, but I dont know if any team in history in the NBA would ever say they have a "too many bigs" problem.
Tidbits about Meyer's killing it (?) in the offseason.....then Vonleh is suddenly injured. Sounds like NO is trying to convince New York that they don't want Vonleh, Meyer's is what they REALLY want.
This is exactly why I said it's better to have too many bigs in September than too few in April. Injuries happen, and big men are more susceptible than smaller players. But, I'm not here to gloat. This sucks. Noah looked good next to Nurk and I was really looking forward to guys battling it out for minutes at the 4 and backup 5 spots. If Swanigan and Collins get minutes, I want it to be because they earned it, not because somebody else got hurt. BNM
With him and Nurk on the court together.......thats when we looked our best last season. Hope it doesn't linger.
At least Noah's been through training camp a few times already. He's got the bulk of the season to get into playing shape. I suspect he'll be riding a bike or running and maybe working on his left hand skills. At least that's what I hope. It's a strain, which doesn't sound too bad. And yeah, this is why we need depth at the bigs positions.
Trouble of course is that the early part of the schedule, which is so home game heavy, is where we really need to rack up the wins.
