Here is an exert from my game preview located in the Rockets forum. Please feel free to head on over there and discuss the game if you wish.

Both teams come into tonight game needing a win. Golden State is on a three game losing streak and Houston wants to get another victory before heading off on a 5 game road trip. The Rockets tonight will have their hands full with a completely revamped Golden State Team. The key match-up tonight will be between Erick Dampier and Yao Ming. Dampier is playing great right now and is finally on the verge of having his breakout season. He is an absolute beast on the glass and has the size and strength to give Yao fits. Yao's reaction to the physical play of Dampier will be key tonight. Another interesting match up will be Clifford Robinson against Kelvin Cato. Robinson likes to hang out around the perimeter quite a bit which is something Cato isn't use to dealing with. Look for Cuttino Mobley to have a huge night tonight. He has averaged 23.6 points against Jason Richardson and the Warriors over the past two seasons.</div>

Very nice Dexter. Some great points.

The Warriors have to win this one. It will be very tough though, especially in Houston. The Warriors are on a tough road stand right now and need any victory that they can muster up. This could be there chance tonight. Hopefully J-Rich can have a break out game but he will have his hands full with Mobley.

It was a close game, but the Warriors lost by 2... this team has been plagued by bad free throw shooting. Two of their last 3 losses would have been wins if they had decent free throw shooting. This is surprising to me as last year, the Warriors were a pretty good free throw shooting team. I think that this is a problem that will continue to severely hamper this team until it is addressed as an issue in practice.

Well said Kobeonfire. The Warriors should have won these games but could not knock down clutch free throws. They almost threw the Pistons game away from bad free throw shooting. It should be addressed and it will.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Yao scored 15 of his 23 points in the final period to lead the Houston Rockets to an 85-83 victory over the Warriors on Wednesday night.

Golden State, coming off a loss at San Antonio on Tuesday, took a 71-68 lead early in the fourth quarter. Then Yao scored the Rockets' next 11 points and Cuttino Mobley hit a 3-pointer for an 82-81 lead with 1:30 remaining and Houston never trailed again.

Steve Francis, who also scored 23 points, said the Rockets' fourth-quarter plan should be obvious.

"Sometimes we almost force-feed the ball to Yao," Francis said. "We did that in the fourth quarter tonight and he made good decisions on whether to pass it back out or go in and score. He came up big in the fourth quarter."

Yao also had 11 rebounds as Houston beat Golden State for the fourth time in the last five meetings. Maurice Taylor returned from a six-game suspension and scored seven points in 15 minutes.

Clifford Robinson scored a season-high 23 points for the Warriors.

Dampier had 15 points and 11 rebounds, but missed two free throws that would have given Golden State the lead with 18.5 seconds to play.

Sounds a lot like the Cavs with those FT issues.
