Our offensive game this season is so bad. I think our team became to easy to guard. Pick and roll and screens, thats all we do. And a lot of 1-1 hero balls. Crabbe was a option at least he make 3s. AC was a guy who can make 3s in transition and is 200 times better than Evan CRAP Turner. I know he should go because of our cap, but besides that we have the chance to sign morrow and we didnt. We are looking very worse than our record, i think thats the scary thing. We need moves, like someone at Sf position. I would do it: Harkless, 1ST round, and something else (swanigan, a 2round pick, ed davis) for Harrison Barnes. He would be perfect here in Portland. Long season to play, a hard schedule coming... Tough days are coming. Its safe to say: we have to avoid a 5 game losing streak, just have to beat washington tuesday.
No they don't. Crabbe disappears every game and doesn't really bring anything other than a goofy haircut for way too much money. He can't even hold down a starting position with the Nets? Now you think the Blazers need him?
I agree to some extent, but what would have he ended up costing with in payroll tax.... around 40 million wasn't it? That is obviously more important than winning more ball games.
One of these players is AC from last year ('16-'17). The other player is Pat so far this year ('17-'18). Tell me which one is which.... Per 100 possessions: Advanced stats: They are VERY comparable players, but I would argue the top line is the slightly better player. Top line is Pat, bottom line is AC. We don't miss AC at all. We've replaced him with someone else who's already on the team. The difference is that Pat isn't long enough to play a ton of minutes at the 3. Now that Stotts has figured out that the ET/CJ combination doesn't work well, and he's been playing Napier more - that's created more of a time crunch for Pat.
It isn't my 40 million dollars. I just want wins. Turner costs us around 17 mill a year and he's been been absolute crap for much of the season.
Only things I miss about AC are his hair and his once every 10-15 games ability to be a difference maker.
He's gonna be FA next summer. I would for sure trade him, and i bet neil would do it. I like him to, but is business
Sure we miss Crabbe. In that, the OP is correct. What we don't miss is his salary. Which is a different subject. If Crabbe got paid what Patty is making, he'd be a nice piece off the bench. In related news, if frogs had wings, they wouldn't have to drag their butts on the ground.
Well. What ever question we ask in regards to replacing Crabbe's production can produce a shitty answer.
