What? Oh man, I bet he was pumped after that game with Rudy throwing all those lobs to him. That sucks!

Good thing we have way too much depth already, now Rudy can slide right in.

Ugh . . . I would like to enjoy my blazer high for at least 24 hours.

Webster isn't part of the core, but still, this just sucks. Sucks for Webster, sucks for the Blazers, sucks for the fans.

    Ugh

That is terrible news for Webster. I know it was only one game but it sure seemed like Rudy and Webster had a great chemistry and I think Webster would have had a big year. Now Webster being a FA next year won't be able to play well this year and trying to get a good contract next year.

I wonder if that means we will have more leverage in contract extensions with him?

Certainly his price comes down, but his huge cap hold remains the same. This doesn't help his chances of sticking with the team for the long term.

Boy does it suck for this years club though... Batum just became a key role player.

Maybe we should try a trade for JJ Reddick. Crap, I think he just got extended. Need some 3-point shooting now.....maybe Luke Jackson does make the team now.

I'm not so sure. Outlaw will bump to starting SF. Rudy and Roy will cover the extra minutes, and Fry/Diogu cover the extra PF time that Outlaw would have taken.

Believe it or not, this might actually open up some extra time for Bayless, Blake and Sergio in the backcourt.

Of course, if Batum earns time, he'll get it.

This really does suck, although it probably will drive his price down next season. Unfortunately I guess this means we won't trade Outlaw even though I wanted to :-(

If Webster truly was ready to have his "break out" year, this definitely stings. Not devastating, but an "on" Webster would make it even that much harder to defend against our starting unit. I hate this.

I'm watching "The Fan" on Comcast Sportsnet and Quick is going to talk about Webster's fracture in a moment.

    :(

Hopefully he signs an extension SOON. We get to keep him cheaper and reduce his cap hold.

Guess we'll see how long he's out...

Yeah, I hope he just signs an extension.....get that cap hold off and lock him up for a few years, we've certainly invested the time in him for him to make it worthwhile IMO.
