With MM unable to run at all and 2 TD's you were gifted by the refs, you ended up with more points that we did. So, good for you, huh?

But, while you were being handled by UCS (a team who lost at home, at home, at HOME to WSU), we were kicking the crap out of the other team that beat you.

The best you can hope for now is 3rd in the PAC-12.

So anyway, after your big game at the Sun Bowl or Las Vegas Bowl, don't forget to root for us in the Rose Bowl.

Oh yeah, that's a BCS bowl, Stanford.

Stanford has become the new arrogant pricks in the Pac-12, replacing UW.

It's not surprising that they lost. I don't think they're a better team than us, they are simply built specifically to beat us. That strategy wouldn't work in any other league, but in college football it only takes one loss. :sigh:

The frustrating thing is still the way that they beat us. Our offense looked fine to me (schematically). Once we started passing, absent bad luck w/the fumbles we moved it fine. Running game wasn't there but they had sold out to stop it and we were gashing them when we had the ball and weren't making stupid mistakes. Bad luck is going to happen occassionally.

But on defense it just seemed so hopeless against third down. When they brought in our big package I just don't understand why we didn't bring in an extra defensive lineman and switch to a 4-4. They were only running that crazy front on third downs. It's baffling to me that we didn't make an adjustment at half-time.

I told you guys they'd lose! We didn't throw on Stanford and USC has the two best receivers in the nation. That and USC stacked the box the whole damn game and exposed Stanford QB for not being Mariota!
