I can easily this guy coming here on a 2 year 5 million deal. Much cheaper than Strome. Historically the same faceoff numbers. His offense has been ruined by Torts and his shithead defense all system. If they sign him, they let Strome walk if they can't deal him.
I like him, but not great on FO's as you wrote. Turris and Koivu are also available at C. We know Gorton will add a LD to pair with Trouba. Does he deal Strome? Does he deal DeAngelo? What is the return for Strome and/or DeAngelo if they are dealt? Does he add a C even if they don't deal Strome (maybe a 3rd line FO/PK C)? Does he add a RD to replace DeAngelo if he is traded?
Off to Florida for 1-year 2.25 mill. A little disappointed we couldn't get it done for that little of a cap hit.
