Doesn't look like Lillard will compete in it though. However he could very well be the 6th unnamed contestant. Honestly I'm really happy to have someone other than Lillard and LA representing the Blazers, even if it's not as an all-star! Also what a great field!! Thompson, Curry, W3$, Korver, Reddick, ???. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/source...participate-in-3-point-contest-031128712.html
Myers needs to be there. He'll only get 5 shots off in the allotted time with that slow ass setup, so he might as well just start with the rack out top, but you know he'll hit 'em all!
Only one you could even nitpick with is Reddick. I think Dame should be #6. Not like it is strenuous.
I agree! That'd be awesome! The NBA needs to freshen up the contest and I think it'd be awesome to make it a team competition. Blazers vs Warriors vs Hawks (but not sure who'd they'd pair up with Korver).
I very happy Wes is there but I don't think he will do too hot just going by how he likes to shoot 3's. He is a better in game shooter then stand and shoot them over and over again shooter I would think.
You gotta think the NBA offered Lillard a spot as well. The higher ups in the NBA aren't stupid so you would think they pay attention to what can blow up in the Media in good ways to promote the All-Star game and the league overall, they have to know that not only have Thompson/Curry in their but also having another pair of teammates from another top team in the west in Mathews/Lillard would make for a great headline and get the event about as hyped up as its ever going to get.
I think I'd rather have him get some rest and feel snubbed, then we could watch him take it out on the rest of the league for the rest of the year...
If not Lillard, one of the Greens (Danny or Gerald) should fill that 6th spot. Maybe bring them both in, have a "Green-off" to see who can earn their way into the competition.
