I made this post cause I havent really been able to get other people's thoughst on the WVU football team. Of course I couldn't be any happier, they stunned the world and beat Goergia in the Sugar Bowl with a true freshman tailback and a redshirt freshman quarterback. Do you guys feel they are a fluke or the real deal? I think Steve Slaton could be a future 1st round pick if he keeps up on his progress. Some polls even have them ranked in preseason top five for next season. They are a very young team and the future does look bright. I'm glad to be a Mountaineer and a Steeler fan of course
They are the best of a weak Big East now that Miami Virginia Tech, and BC left it. I do think that they benefitted alot from having a weak schedule but they are still a good team.
Though I don't feel Georgia is all that great for a top-team, I think that WVU will be the real deal for the next couple years. Stalon made a big statement in that game, looks like he's gonna step up.
They are very good. I watched them beat my team south florida(not saying much) but i really like steve slaton.
