make his free throws and attack the basket more like he did in game 1. the spurs need to do a better job of flashing thru the lane when he gets double and triple teamed. last night they all stood around and relied on duncan to make everything.

He just has to do his thing. He doesn't have to change at all from what he did in game one. Making his freethrows is crucial though.

Yes he does need his free throws to go down because like last night in the 4th qtr he couldn't hit a free throw if a free throw was a dunk.

if the nets think theyve SOLVED duncan theyre in for the shock of their lives. the fact is theres no defensive scheme they can throw at him that he hasnt already seen and triumphed over. hes the mvp for a reason. hes unstoppable when hes focused and so are the spurs. i dont see how u can think the spurs didnt give it away. whatch the second and third quarters and tell me the spurs were executing the way they do 90% of the time. they wernt. they wont make the same mistakes again. they certainly seem to have solved kmart and rjef. you dont just solve tim duncan

TD had a bad game...he didn't seem ready to play for some reason..but when he has a poor day that means trouble for the other team next time...

so in game 3 tomorrow..WATCH OUT!!

I've seen this situation way too many times with duncan over the years..he has a poor game but then follows it with an amazing performance

thats exactly what will happen. expect a historic performance from him in these last three games of the series to close it out

kinda like shaq. (ick) he'll be fine next game. remember how they made their free throws after game 1 vs the mavs? that'll happen again

"expect a historic performance from him in these last three games"

yep, just like u said duncan would only get better from game one on, and that prediction worked out so well for u. of course i would think duncan would do better in game 3, because for him, he couldnt do much worse than he did in game 2.

"theres no defensive scheme they can throw at him that he hasnt already seen and triumphed over"

so what is your explanation for what happened in game 2, u said he's seen that defense b4, but he didnt exactly triumph over it. is your excuse he wasnt focused? he wasnt focused in game 2 of the nba finals? there arent many games thatre more important than that one, why wouldnt he be focused in that game? he's the mvp, he should be focused every game, but especially games in the finals!

"expect a historic performance from him in these last three games"

r u trying to sound like bill walton here? except that when he makes such comments he's saying it from the perspective of one of the greatest players and especially big men of all time. ur saying it because of the fact that for some reason it appears u want the spurs to win more than life itself.

not only does Tim Duncan have to make his freet throws to win but the whole team does, they are worse than a high school team at shooting them

I think that the whole team needs to get better at freethrows, plus, they shouldn't depend on TD to get every score from them--the Nets will expect that...they need to be more unpredictable in order for the Nets not to recognize their plans...
