Now that the Lakers have a solid chance of not even making the play-in tournament, let alone the playoffs, what good team will you be most rooting against? Who's the villain? I need a reason to care about the playoffs.
Good choice. I kind of liked the Sixers before they traded for him. But with Doc coaching them, you know we'll get to watch them implode sooner rather than later.
Don't care about the playoffs until the blazers are in it. That's the only correct answer. You're welcome. You now have more free time.
We hate the Nets. We hate James Harden (but we love Embiid so it’s weird). We don’t hate Chris Pail but we absolutely don’t love him. There are reasons to love all the other teams.
I think I hate Dallas. I mean, I've hated Dallas for a while (exception: when they played the Heatles in the finals) but I think Luka might be my Kobe replacement for great player that I can't stand.
Might be easier to list the teams I don't hate. Portland. Okay that is my list. The rest can suck it.
I don't have a lot of hate for teams. The team I tend to hate the most these days is the Warriors... they've knocked us out of the playoffs so many times and I can't stand Steph, his celebrations and on court demeanor mixed with everyone kissing his ass all of the time, rubs me the wrong way. I only hated the Lakers when we were competing against them for western dominance in the late 80s and early 90s and then later hated them most during the Kobe era. I haven't hated any other team for a while though because we haven't been on a level where anyone is standing in our way of a championship besides our management. I tend to just enjoy fun basketball games and great play unless it's standing in the way of our Blazers advancing.
No hate for any team. Rooting hard for Memphis, (and Minnesota, but that's a possible 1st round matchup.) I could watch Milwaukie and Brooklyn play every day.
