What happened to Steve Smith??

    i never seem him on the floor anymore. is he injured or are the other players just better?

    he is like 10th man now..steph jackson has basically took his spot and all the playing time from him..he hit a few threes last night..but he is older now and rarely plays.

    hell, i'll take him on the lakers. i wonder when his contract expires....

    steve smith has been plagued with injuries and stephen jackson stepped it up when they needed him...

    I think this off season....may be wrong though...we should never of traded DA for him....if DA had stayed on the spurs well...that would just lock up the NBA title.

    yeah DA was good. at least you spurs got stephen jackson. i remember when he had a career night against the lakers i thoght he was just a scrub that had a lucky streak but evidently he's a lot better than i thought.

    i did like what steve smith brought to the court in the blazers-lakers series a couple years ago.

    Yeah steph has been great for the Spurs this season,he really worked hard in the off season to get in the spurs set-up and get some minutes but the way he improved he managed to get a starting place...he has been brillant in the playoffs so far..and spurs can thank him for saving them when other players have played poorly.

    10th man, thats crazy. I havent seen Steve Smith in the rotation for a while. He must be injured. I'll check out the Spurs website.

    Nope, not injured, he played the last minute last night, he kind of is a 10 man now, hes just sitting there taking up cap room.
