If there were a buyout of Anthony and we could come up with a trade for Love added to Nurk, Lillard and CJ we would have a pretty explosive offensive team. Defensively we would suck but with enough fire power we could over come our defensive liabilities. Only downside to this is probably have to give up Collins in trade for Love. At a game late in the year I was very impressed with his play. He is quick and fast but really impressed me was his footwork for a young big man. He does have very good potential.
You only consider those kind of moves if you're in win now mode with a chance to compete for a title. I don't think Love, and especially Carmelo, gets us close to competing with GSW. Seriously, Carmelo isn't even any good on offense any more and his defense sucks worse than ever. He'd be a step backwards from Harkless at this point. So no, I wouldn't consider this, not for one second. BNM
To me right now Zach is off limits due to he is young with a lot upside. Love is to much injured prone and Anthony has lost a step or two. Anyway Love would be one year rental.
Zach has some potential but we have so overdone it on potential. His numbers were pretty bad, he shows flashes of good plays, but the he’s untouchable mindset I don’t get. I think he averaged 4ppg and 3rpg and had awful percentages to go with it. He may someday be good but calling him untouchable just seems so backwards to me...
