Blazer fans know very well who #21 in Rip City is, none other than ... 21 Ruben Patterson F-G 6-5 224 7/31/75 Cincinnati '98 5 Miles has only 3 years in league and will wear some other number. What number do y'all think that it will be?
Probably 12... lot of players just switch the numbers... he may pick 20 or 22, but 12 is more likely. I'd say this is a trade in favor of Portland... they took a player worth more money, but has better talent and although Portland is full of "talented" under-used young players, I guess this isn't such a bad pick up. I just don't see where Portland is going with this roster. I guess I'll have to see future moves before I realize the big picture. P.S.>> Isn't it funny how Andre Miller was esentially traded for McInnis? Miller started in Cleveland and is now in Denver, McInnis started in Denver and is now in Cleveland... both had stops in ClippperLand in between. Miller is obviously the better player, so the Miller for Miles/Miles for McInnis dealing didn't turn out too well for the Cavs. But money-wise I guess Miller would have just cost too much.
According to the Blazers.com roster he will wear #23. Is Darius still a team Jordan member? I remember him in those commercials with Quentin Richardson but I don't know if thats still going on. He doesn't really seem like a guy that represents Michael well but he's still young.
