We have all seen players postered, getting dunked on, immortalized by an awesome play inside. But Paul George was just postered from 37 feet out. PG was in the running for the MVP a good portion of the season, but his year ends with him being made a fool by Dame then complaining about it being a bad shot while the rest of the world celebrates the shot as fantastic, amazing, and a good shot by Lillard one of only a couple players who could make this a good shot. Dame shooting +39% from 30-40 feet this year. Well, nobody wants to be the next Paul George, AKA Chump. Everyone now knows that Dame has ice in his veins and is more than a great shooter, he is an assassin who will ruin his opponents good name. Opponents will play up on him from 40 feet out. Double teams will come at half court. And Dame will react by breaking their fucking ankles or sending pin point passes to the open man. "The Shot" will make teams try and key in on Dame further out, but having the effect of giving Dame even more options. And that's where Dame is brilliant, he is smart. He studies, he practices, and he has contingencies. He will eviscerate his opponents. The world is opening up to Dame to move to the next level - MVP.
