I'm curious who everybody is going for. I'm not sure who I would rather have win the series, I would like it to go the length for obvious reasons. What are your thoughts?

Would also love for it to go to 7. Either team is going to be a tough opponent for the winner of the blazers rockets series.

Dont care too much. I honestly think hohston is our hardest opponent till miami. Dallas is slightly more scary player wise, spurs coach wise. Wed have home court against dallas but I think if a game is in texas aldridge plays better than at home so either way we are sweeping.

Mark Cuban won me over for calling bullshit on the refs for years. I believe he's been fined over $1m total for telling the truth.

San Antonio bores me with their machine-like efficiency.

I'd rather play Dallas, simply because the Spurs are the Spurs. Best record in the league. Best coach in the league. Most playoff experience in the league. Sure they are old, but they've been there. Dallas is probably more streaky. But the Blazers will 'stay the course' and prevail.

Key question: which is a better matchup for Dame, considering both offense and defense?

Would love to see LA play in Dallas. Look what the man did in Houston with his folks there. I think we match up better with San Antone but the coaching battle worries me.

Other things being equal I root for the underdogs, so Dallas. Besides, if the Blazers win their first round they'd have home court vs. Dallas but not San Antonio.

Hmm...LaMarcus turns into LaMonster in Dallas, and we'd have home court. Two good angles.

    I'm sold!

The thing with playing the Mavs is that would make the Blazers the favorites. That almost never goes well for the Blazers.

That said Dallas is a lot like Houston in that they have a really good offense and a mediocre defense. (3rd in ORtg, 22nd in DRtg). Those are quick stats though and don't tell the whole story. Dallas' 22nd ranking is actually much worse than Houston's (13th).

In the end you have to cheer for Dallas to win the series. The Spurs and Pop are just too good. There's no way you feel good going against them besides the fact they're dinosaurs.

This is a case where I am rooting for who I want to win, not for who I want to face. Go Spurs!

I give Stotts a better chance against Carlisle than Popovich, so I want Dallas.

Rooting for double OT tonight . . . and a hard physical 7 game series overall. :)

For two more games at least. This series isn't over by a long shot.
