As the title states, who did you vote for to be in the 2019 NBA All-Star Game?

Not who you think deserves to be there, or who you think will be there, but who you actually voted for.

    Here's how I voted:

West: Adams, Ingles, Lillard, Mills, Nurkic
East: Baynes, Bolden, Dellavedova, Maker, Simmons

I considered voting for Exum, or Broekhoff, but I just couldn't leave Dame out. Nurkic is lucky there's only one frontcourt Aussie in the West (although Broekhoff can play the 3 IRL). Adams gets my vote because New Zealand is like our little brother, and I always like to see them do well (except against us).

All Blazers every day. I think even Swanigan got a vote in error at one point. ;)

Bs. The rules are whats wrong. As long as they let the rules be like this, Im gonna vote my Blazers. No one out of this state will, so why shouldnt i?

When i see the top vote getters on the current list, you better believe im going to go the opposite.
Its a complete joke and im now simply takimg advantage of the glaring flaws of the all star balloting and i bleed red and black baby!!!

I think you’re both right. The rules are bad, but its fans like us who dont vote for the ‘best’ players and take advantage of the poor rules that make it so guys start who shouldnt even be there. They arent mutually exclusive.

Nah. Mostly the rules and im proof of it.
I have always voted the best players in. My opinion of the best players, which is pretty much in line with the norm.
I started losing it when yao ming was voted a starter. When kobe was voted a starter while having one of his worst seasons, i was done voting in the best players and started focusing on the blazers.

I did it right for years but the voting is soo broken it jaded me aNd now im biased. Im simply the aftermath of a shit show.

All that proves is that other people were the problem first, and now you joined them. heh. Im actually kind of indifferent about it the only part that bugs me is that guys get bonuses and incentives and stuff based on all star appearances and when a deserving guy doesnt get it because a big population center voted for them its frustrating.

Not proven, but widely known that fans are not rational.
    Fans. Fanatics.
    Common sense? Non existent.

The problem lies in the nba thinking fans are rational.
Some are, most arent. Most are biased.

All stars help hof voting too.

Its a complete farce set up for failure from the get go when you put the decision making into fanatics hands.
