Coaches are ready, and the roster is set. Which Blazer do you think will have a break out season, and be the teams MIP? I do not have a clue which player it will be. I would be happy with any of them, or better yet, all of them making big improvements to their game. But I would like to see Meyers add more skills to his three point shooting. He would be huge for us if he develops more of his high ceiling potential.
I think Crabbe will continue to improve. I'm not sure how that's going to translate though. I think Harkless might take a step forward.
CJ could get 24ppg this year and become an all-star. But I'm gonna go with Crabbe getting 14/3/3 off the bench with a more developed handle and showing big time spurts of lockdown defense.
I believe it will be Ezeli even he didn't play for last year. I think his offense skill better than people think and definitely will anchor our defense. So here it is 12/10/2.5.
I’m shutting down for a while, heading to my cave, just wanted to make one last comment for you all to think about. The oldest player on our roster is only 27 years old. Every player on the roster has a chance to improve his game. With the entire roster trending up, this team could be awesome soon. The more I hash over the changes, the better I like what PA & NO did this off-season.
Been saying that he hopes to be cleared for full contact 5 on 5 by the start of the regular season so probably mid November, barring any setbacks.
Dame will be Dame, get 23 a game or maybe even 25, who knows but I see Crabbe taking that next step, creating shots, better ball handling. Bigger role down the line potentially
I'm going with CJ on this one. He has put work in this off-season on his handles. And physically, he looks a lot stronger. That can only help him finish inside. I think with what we saw from him last year, which was his first season playing big minutes, and his off-season growth, he is going to step up big time. CJ will be an allstar this season. You heard it here first.
I agree with Trackjack. Everyone points out that Ezeli only played 16 mpg or whatever. I say he stays healthy, plays 26 mpg, and basically doubles his numbers from last year.
Just thinking of who I would choose for this gave me a really good feeling about next season. Just remember we were "supposed" to win 27 games last year. What the team did stood in the face of pretty much every expert out there aside from kingspeed. And about 80% of our roster has a significant chance to grow and get better as players. Plus we added two pretty significant players who fill needs.
I've gotta 3rd this one. He reminds me of Ed "Too Tall" Jones, when he briefly boxed. Big. Built. I think Uncle Festus is gonna break out a big ole can of whoopass this year, and massively dominate the paint. Then we sign him for a 4 year, 80M deal.....
