So, bear in mind that George will be a FA after this coming season and everybody is convinced he wants to end up in LA. But that's also the reason why he might be traded, because if Indy had him locked up long term they wouldn't even consider trading him.

So: would you give up CJ for him? Would you give up Lillard for him? Don't say anyone else because we have nothing else that would interest them.

    Literally nothing.

There is absolutely 0% chance he re-signs here.

CJ. George would be a tremendous compliment to Dame/Nurkic. But I would want an extension signed as a condition of the trade or no-go.

George is making his way to the Lakers. I would only give Meyers up for him (just because when Paul leaves at least we get our salary situation under control). Obviously that isn't going to happen though.

Butler should be the target when the Bulls lose their series.

Yeah, he couldn't stand being second fiddle to the Nurk.

I would trade CJ for either a re-signed George (but ONLY a re-signed George) or an extended Butler (although Butler is signed through 2020, so extended would be a bonus). Butler would be a best-case back court running mate for Damian. tall, long, defensive minded and can create his own shot.

I would also see if I could get Ibaka from Orlando for a shit ton of pieces and draft picks. The Magic need to rebuild and would probably go for a package like that.

If you could get a commitment to sign, then CJ + a 1st round pick might be fair.

I strongly disagree. I think PG would really enjoy playing with Dame and Nurkic. Good thing your not the GM!

Yep, I'd give up CJ and a pick or two if he agreed to sign an extension as a condition for the trade.

I would give them Aminu and Leonard. That would get it done, right? Right?

I don't think Indy has any leverage whatsoever in a PG trade. Don't think it would take nearly as much to get him as you guys are saying given his contract situation. And to be clear, there are no longer any sign and trades. It's trade and hope like hell that he re-signs. If there is even a whiff of him being interested in our team, we need to be all up on that. We go into luxury tax hell, but if you can get a core of Dame/CJ/PG/Nurk, you go all in.

Well I'd still prefer to get one more year of Geroge hoping that he changes his mind and re-signs there than take crap players on longer contracts. Of course if we offered them CJ they'd probably take it, but we would be stupid to do that.

Boston should offer them 2018 Nets pick and get it done. This years Brooklyn's pick is probably worth more than PG so should be a no go. They will do that if they cannot get Hayward in free agency, I think.

FWIW, Meyers is from the area. He usually plays well here and his family/friends take up a whole section during games.

Harkless/Meyers/Noah (played at IU)/all 3 picks/ for Monta and PG. Or some variation of that. Only downside is that Meyers would be close to me and at all the Pacer games I go to. I'll make the sacrifice
