Could there be a trade by the end of tonight? It's possible. The rumor mill is churning with all sorts of ideas, but one has stuck out as more than possible. Anthony Peeler and Joe Smith may be dealt tonight to Milwaukee for Ervin Johnson and Sam Cassell. The salaries on this trade come up only $400,000 apart, which will work within the guidelines of the CBA. With the Bucks drafting T.J. Ford tonight in the first round, Cassell has now become very expendable. [IMG]

even though cassell is expendable, the bucks would be getting ripped off.

AP has an option on his contract, the team that signs him can let him go with cap relief, kind of like Terrell Brandon, except they get less money. They need the extra money to sign Payton.

payton is not returning. he likes playing in the western conference and he wants a ring. the bucks will be lucky to make the playoffs next year. payton is gone.

The Trail Blazers and Timberwolves were talking about trading Terrell Brandon, ESPN's David Aldridge reported during the NBA Draft. The proposal involved Ruben Patterson and Derek Anderson for Terrell's contract, which will come off the books in Feburary. However, this trade will not go down in this form. There is a possibility that the Wolves and Blazers hook up in another form.

like who... who would you have drafted all the way down their... they got a player who can be a superstar in a few years... and if they resign KG then its all for the best... I was hopin for Troy Bell but Jerry West was to smart for that...

I think he has the talent to be like (not as good) a Kevin Garnett... hes very atheletic, but he should have went to Arizona to bulid up his hype a bit... o well tho, Timberwolves have him now...

Lampe might need a big buy out from his country and right now thats not what the Timberwolves need... Josh Howard might have been a legit pick but I dont see why you think he would make such an imediate impact...
