Very interesting article, and some good insights ...

looks like Bayless might be rubbing teammates the wrong way, which is a bit concerning, but hopefully he'll get his head straight and learn to take some criticism from others.

That seems the same to me. I think AI would be about as effective as Bayless as a "pure PG". I see a lot of things similar...lightning fast, attacks the basket with wreckless abandon and needs to have the ball with a scoring mentality to be effective....high turnovers, aggressive defensively.

    And no J.

Um, AI doesn't have a good jumpshot....well it has got better in his later years, but I still would not call it "good".

At worst case Bayless and Travis are great trade bait. If you combine one or both of them with Raef's contract you have a damn good package to offer another team.

I still see Bayless being an important part of this team over the next decade either as the starting guard with Brandon, or coming off the bench Vinnie Johnson-style and lighting it up.
Hopefully the attitude doesn't get in his way, and just ease up a bit, learn the ropes and be accepting of the criticism.
I don't think he'll be the next Telfair.
