Growing up as a kid in Portland when "Rip-City" first came to life my guy was Lionel Hollins. He wasn't the best player in the league or on the team but man I loved him.

Over the years I've had different favorites at different times. Clyde, Jerome, Brian Grant, Lucas, Brandon, and on and on. It's hard to pick, really. If Sabonis played his whole career here he would've undoubtedly been my all-time favorite.

I'm old school, love the glue guys. I gotta go with Buck Williams. He's my dude.

Terry (Porter, that is) was my first fave.
Sabonis came later but is probably tied in my pantheon.

His battles with the Mailman were like the Hulk vs. the Thing.

Billy Ray Bates was my first 'basketball hero' but Clyde 'The Glyde' was my favorite followed closely by Sabas.

I've been a fan, following the team closely, since 1975. I remember the early and bad years vaguely.

I can only narrow it to favorite player per decade:
70's: Maurice Lucas - Enforcer, leader, tough guy!
80's: Clyde Drexler - the Glide
90's: Terry Porter - Mr Clutch vs Pistons
00's: Brandon Roy - providing a glimmer of hope for future
10's: Damian Lillard! What time is it?

Yep, Clyde's a douche for Houston but I loved that guy growing up. Followed closely by Kersey.

    1a) Sheed Wallace
    1b) Damian Lillard

If he continues at this pace I'm positive Nurkic will top this list.

Yeah, I've gotta go with these. Only difference is Arvydas over Porter(barely). Good choices....

Sabonis. I don't think that'll ever change. But if anyone is going to change it, it'll be Nurkic.

By my age it has varied:

19 years old - Cliff Robinson! As a teen Uncle Cliffy was my guy all the way; he was a rookie when I started watching the Blazers. We kind of grew up together in that way.

29 years old - Brandon Roy! What an amazingly clutch performer! His fourth quarter takeovers were legendary. My favorite Blazer live experience was that Dallas game he took over on one leg.

39 years old - Damian Lillard! Everything I said about Brandon's clutch ability applies here, plus his legendary leadership and loyalty make him lovable off the court too. I got to him him score 59 from the Nike suite the other night which is a top 5 memory!

49 years old - Jusuf Nurkic! Fiery, bold, dominant! The way he moves in the post and on the roll is amazing, his hands are second to none! Plus the rings he got us are no small reason why he's my favorite from the year 2027!

Clyde the Glyde, until he broke my fuckin' heart. Fair play to him though. That's his choice. Now probably a toss up between Kersey and Uncle Cliffy. You ask me on any given day and I'll wax poetic about either.
