...between tomorrow's Jazz game and the next preseason contest @ Sacto? That seems a bit peculiar to me. Is that relatively standard for all NBA teams?
Yep. Its screwy. As is scheduling back to back games in preseason. With the injuries guys have been having and the time available to schedule these games there is no good reason to do this.
I'm pretty sure it's because we canceled a game vs OKC, leaving us some free days. And the fact that they decided to give us TWO sets of back to backs in pre-season.. But it's good for us anyways, Blake and Rudy will be ready now to play against Sac that way, and possibly even Channing.. Plus it gives the coach and team to fix whatever things they need to do
