The West Division-leading Wenatchee Wildscored three even-strength goals late in the second period Friday and neverlooked back, earning a 3-0 victory over the Fresno Monsters at the SellandArena in Fresno, Calif.

Despite multiple quality scoring chances, it took the Wildmore than 37 minutes to finally get a puck past Monster goalie Tomas Sholl. Joe Sullivan (Las Vegas, Nev.) brokethe scoreless tie with 6:47 remaining in the second period when he lit the lampon a glove-side wrist shot from linemates JacobBarber (Dardenne Prairie, Mo.) and ChrisKerr (Penticton, British Columbia). The goal was Sullivan's first with theWild after he was acquired from the Aberdeen Wings last week.

"He was the hardest worker on the ice tonight," Wild headcoach Bliss Littler said ofSullivan. "He hit anything that moved and made plays, and that's exactly whatwe're looking for. He elevated the line he was on and he's going to help us."

Wenatchee needed a little more than two minutes to doubleits lead to 2-0 when Chris Jones (NormandyPark, Wash.) scored from the far faceoff circle. Tyler Bruneteau (Omaha, Neb.) and Trace Redmond (McKinney, Texas) assisted.

Max McHugh(Edgewood, Wash.) scored Wenatchee's third and final goal of the game with 2:48remaining before the second intermission when he hooked up with Jono Davis (La Verne, Calif.) on agive-and-go. Josh Hartley (Coquitlam,British Columbia) also assisted.
