Jaylen Adams shot 40.1% from three in the Gleague, 87 makes on 217 attempts, scored over 20ppg and 5apg. We need someone to setup the offense when one of Dame/CJ sits. We also need to keep 3pt shooting on the floor at all times.

Mario does not stretch the floor to prevent Dame traps, he is 4/18 in the bubble on 3's which is 22.2% in 111 minutes.

Simons has not cut it all season nor in the 9 bubble games. He is 1/7 on threes 14.2% in the bubble in 49 minutes.

We are not going to beat the Lakers by having forwards such as Mario outplay them in transition, driving, or going inside. They have freaking Davis+LeBron! We only have a chance by making it rain 3pt's.

Lets see a couple bench minutes for ADAMS!

Admittedly, I haven't seen enough of him.... but what I did see doesn't give me much hope that he'd help vs Lakers

    Unfortunately he's only 6'0.

Is he an actual point guard or just a short chucker?

I think it makes sense if they let us play 6 on 5

@SlyPokerDog I totally understand the excitement of getting into the playoffs, but this main page has turned into the wild Wild West. People get a random thought and just start a thread. Clean this shit up......earn your check. DENNY!!!!!

I know you're joking but this is has been the shittiest year I can ever recall having and this Blazer season was looking to go the same way. This tear the team has been on has given so many of us so much happiness, probably one of the few things that is been good for all of us. If people want to have fun about the Blazers and the players I'm all for it.

And yes, if Jaylen has learned the offense and his teammates I see no problem throwing out a player for brief stretches that is an unknown in the Lakers scouting guide.

I don't get why people are saying this is a joke or hell no...

I'm just saying put him out for 5 minutes as a backup and see what happens. I've seen enough of Simons to know he isn't ready this year. Adam's is 6'0", but the Lakers don't have a backup nor hell even starting guards that require great defense.

Adams was the one addition we had for the bubble roster. What was the point of signing him if he cant play 5 minutes when we have a strong need for his skill set and no good options?

He was brought in as a practice body.

If he wants to be a Portland legend he should injure Lebron if he ever gets a chance to play.
