Delonte West should, by all means, be on the withdrawal list. He's not ready for the NBA. He needs another year. He's also real small for the position he played in college, which was shooting guard. I don't know if he's ready to handle the point position either. Good to see Gomes drop also. An extra year in college will help his stock. He also needs to work on his jump shot as it's a bit shaky at times.

Yeah definitely, they were saying that SJU made a mistake by listing him at 6'4 all season when he is really 6'1. He is basically screwed because the pro are going to want him to play at pg. Another thing is that in the scrimages in camp when placed at pg he just dribbled the ball up the court w/ his head down and either threw up a wild shot, turned it over, or passed to a player in bad position. Bad move, Delonte.

West imo if he plays another year for st. joes would be a lottery pick. He should have done what teammate and my favorite college player Jameer Nealson did gone to the draft champ and if he was not sure if he would be a first round selection should have gone back for one more year at st. joes to improve his skill and his rank amoung college players.

In last years draft 7 senior players/ college graduates were taken in the first round. If West went back to his senior year he would be a lock for a first round pick. Also another player I believe should have gone to college is J.R Smith he is not guarenteed a first round selection. Probable will be a second round choice but only 40 % of second round selections are signed to a second contract while that number doubles for first round selections to 80 %. He could have learned alot if he went to college possible in a couple years being a loteery pick.
