It's good that the Rams are addressing their defense, you got a hell of a LB in Witherspoon. He's good in coverage, blitzing, and is a playmaker. They really broke the bank for him from what I heard though.

He's a great linebacker. He's young too(only 26?) and still in his prime. Very nice signing by the Rams.

Yeah, they are going to actually have a decent defense for once between all the first round picks they sent there, Chavous, Glover, and now Witherspoon.

I knew he was going to sign with us yesterday. I was hoping he'd play MLB, and now that he will, it's pimptacular. Now all we need to do is resign Pickett, sign a CB/FS, complete that Culpepper trade, and draft Vernon Davis and we'll be guranteed SB champs.

Isn't Bulger good enough?

Don't get me wrong. I love Bulger. But Culpepper works in Linehans system, and we made a trade offer for him, and I think both sides liked it, but I just think Pepper to Holt would be a great combo.

We just need to get a stud CB (I feel Jerametrius Butler could be, but more than likely won't) and a TE and we will be the SB champs.
