This is turning into a great rivalry. It was what I expected and more last night. Hopefully they meet in the playoffs again.

Hopefully they don't eject sam cassell next time, because he didn't deserve it at all. What he did, did not warrant an ejection i'm sorry.

The two teams seemed to carry grudges from the last April's playoffs games. Just because both played physical and went hard at each other doesn't mean this is a rivalry. The Timberwolves spoke it right, this is no rivalry, the Nuggets have to realise they are still far from where the Wolves are.. remember they were the eighth seed last year while the Wolves was no. 1 (that's why they met in the first round)... so what's so "rivalry" about them? The 2004-2005 season is only a few days old, it's too early to tell that the Nuggets perform as good as the Wolves... but they definitely have taken one step in that direction by defeating, outplaying, outhustling, outmanning well the Timberwolves. Still many games to go though... let's see if the Nuggets are really focused of being and playing together like they showed against the Wolves for the rest of the games or they only show up once in a while against opponents like the Wolves. No doubt it was a great game by the Nuggets, but who knows if they show up like they did in LA in the next game? Melo has gotta step up and hit his shots.
