Can somebody explain his game to me? I track his stats regularly, after all I was rooting for him for ROY, but I don't understand his game. At first I thought he was a slightly better shooter than Lebron after rookie year, but then I hear he chucked up shots (meaning he wasn't a smart shooter), then I watch highlights of him throwing down two handers, and read about him starting to post up. What's the deal..
he's a scorer...flat-out...he can post up, drive and shoot a little...he rebounds very well and can get his teammates involved if focused but hes not a good defender at all...he also tends to get lazy and nonchalant while playing...he's a scorer, and I see him as a Glenn-Robinson type...he doesnt have the all-around game Lebron has, but I do believe that with a little more seasoning, carmelo will be the franchise player for the nuggets...I know theyve already labeled him that somewhat, but I dont think hes ready for it nor has the game for it at this stage of his career...
