    Workout Updates
Jun 8 - Today's workout will be the main event in the Bulls' eyes, with Spencer Hawes going head-to-head against Florida's Joakim Noah (6-11, 230). Those two players already matched up on Wednesday in Minnesota. The Bulls will scout a third big man prospect on Saturday when they visit China's Yi Jianlian (7-0, 235) in California. -- Arlington Heights Daily Herald

    # The Suns continue their workouts today with Maryland guard D.J. Strawberry and Finnish point guard Petteri Koponen leading the group. -- East Valley Tribune

    # The Wizards will conduct workouts for eight draft prospects on Friday. Derrick Byars (Vanderbilt), Javaris Crittenton (Georgia Tech), Nick Young (USC) and Sun Yue (China) will take part in the first session. The second session will feature Carl Elliot (George Washington), Jamon Gordon (Virginia Tech), Josh McRoberts (Duke) and Anthony Tolliver (Creighton). -- WashingtonWizards.com

    # Georgetown junior forward Jeff Green has said he will base a decision on whether to remain in the draft on "how the workouts go." He was to get his chance with the Sixers late this morning in Washington, D.C. Because he has not hired an agent, he has until June 18 to make his choice. -- Philadelphia Daily News

    # Winthrop's Torrell Martin, Vanderbilt's Derrick Byars, Xavier's Justin Cage and Kansas State's Cartier Martin were Thursday's workout candidates. Workouts will resume Saturday, with Florida's Joakim Noah among those expected to workout for the Bobcats, who own the 8th and 22nd picks of the first round of the June 28 NBA draft. -- Gaston Gazette

    # Monday marks the first day of workouts in Oakland and brings a senior-laden group that includes Maryland guard D.J. Strawberry, the son of former major leaguer Darryl Strawberry, and Rice swingman Morris Almond. Others scheduled in next week are potential second-round picks Alando Tucker, Curtis Sumpter, Reyshawn Terry, and Bobby Brown. But the action really kicks up the following week, when candidates for Golden State's first-round pick are expected in. Colorado State underclassman Jason Smith, who is testing the waters and has not hired an agent, is scheduled to workout for Golden State on June 17. USC swingman Nick Young will be in June 20, along with Nevada's Nick Fazekas and Syracuse's Demetris Nichols, and Duke's Josh McRoberts will be in June 21, according to their representatives. -- San Francisco Chronicle
